Banana Mug Cake

Mug cake is something that you can make to satisfy your immediate cravings for cake. It’s a quick step to bake a cake in the microwave for 1-2 minutes. ⏲️

Today, I am going for a healthier version of mug cake – Banana Mug Cake. A simple, easy and healthy cake which is also my personal favorite. You don’t have to be a baker or a good cook to do this, just the right ingredients.

All the ingredients used in this mug cake have its own benefits which is not only good for you but also tasty at the same time.



Ingredients

  • ½ ripe banana (mashed) 🍌

  • 3 tbsp whole wheat flour

  • 1 tsp brown sugar (optional)

  • ¼ tsp baking powder / baking soda

  • 3 tbsp milk (any milk of your choice)

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder

  • 1 tbsp oil


Method

  • Add the flour, brown sugar (optional), baking powder / soda , cinnamon powder into your microwave mug and the dry ingredients well.

  • Add milk, vanilla essence and oil into the mug and mix well to attain cake batter. Now add the mashed banana into the batter and mix it well .

  • Place your mug into the microwave and bake it for 1 minute ⏲️(sometimes 2 minutes – depends on your microwave ).
