Cheesecake is a sweet dessert 😚 consisting of the main, and thickest layer, which is a mixture of soft, fresh cheese, eggs, and sugar and the bottom layer, consists of a crust or base made from crushed cookies (or digestive biscuits) or graham crackers. It may be baked or unbaked - usually refrigerated.
Cheesecake was created in New York in the early 1800’s but was originally created in Greek Island of Samos ,dated back to 2000 B.C . Additional toppings such as fruits, chocolate syrup, nuts, whipped cream or any other toppings are done for flavor and visual appeal.
Making cheesecake at home is super easy with the right details , so let’s make one 👩🍳.

Ingredients : (For 8-10 inch springform pan)
1 ¼ cup digestive biscuit crumbs
½ cup brown sugar
½ tsp cinnamon powder
½ cup melted butter 🧈
2 packages of cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla essence
250ml whipping cream
½ cup sugar
Favorite topping (optional)
Method
Firstly, crush digestive biscuits by beating for using food processor to obtain the biscuit crumbs and transfer to a bowl. Add brown sugar, cinnamon and melted butter to the bowl containing the biscuit crumbs and mix well. Press the crumbs mix into the bottom (and a bit to the sides) of springform pan – this will be the base layer of our cheesecake. After creating a proper layer , chill this in the refrigerator until firm.
In a bowl , add cream cheese and lemon juice and beat together until soft. In another bowl, add whipping cream and beat using electric beater until you get stiff peaks – remember to add sugar and vanilla essence.
Add the whipped cream to the cream cheese batter and mix to get a thick batter. Now pour the batter to the chilled crust and spread it evenly . Chill this again for several hours or overnight. When its time to serve , remove the sides of the springform pan and serve your yummy cake 😁.
Enjoy this creamy cake with your friends and family.
