Virgin Long Island Iced Tea

The Big Bang Theory was an American television sitcom that is mainly centered on five characters – 4 geeks 🤓 and a waitress neighbor . I like the series and especially the main fictional character , Sheldon Lee Cooper , a genius who lacks the basic social skills.

In Season 4 Episode 7 , Penny (the waitress neighbor) offers Sheldon one Long Island iced tea when they discuss about Sheldon’s treatment towards his girlfriend ,Amy. He doesn’t drink alcohol but accidentally drinks this thinking it is tea. ( due to its name)

So today, we are going to make non- alcoholic Long Island Iced Tea – just being Sheldon .

Ingredients

• 1 lemon juice + lemon slices

• 200 ml Ginger ale

• 12 tsp of black tea

• Ice cubes

• 60 ml soda or 7up diet

Method

• Make black tea by dropping tea leaves in water and let the water boil. Off the flame and let it cool down for 1 hour.

• Add lemon juice , ginger ale and soda (or 7up diet - but I prefer soda ) and stir it well. If you want a bitter taste , you may add apple cider vinegar .

• Now pour the contents into your serving glass with ice cubes and lemon slices and enjoy this chill drink.
